Victory and the Laurels Thereof

The more I think about the "Victory Mosque at Ground Zero," the more I have to admit I'm starting to wonder. I mean, it is pretty tactless, isn't it? It's not as if a tolerant, pluralistic society would ever do something as thoughtless as these Muslims are trying to do, right? Americans have never insulted someone else's religious and cultural sensibilities by offering homage to our gods in a place they consider sacred, right.....?

Nah, we'd never take someone else's sacred ground and turn it into a monument of how we kicked the holy sh*t out of them.
